Frequently Asked Questions
What is Co2 ?
It stands for Carbon Dioxide and is generally thought to be a major factor in the so called 'greenhouse gases' warming effect on the world's climate. This warming is thought to cause unnatural weather conditions and may cause the sea to rise over time causing a drastic impact on civilisation.
Co2 is a natural by-product of combustion engines and is expelled through the exhaust. Current thinking is to try and reduce the amount of Co2 produced and manufacturers are developing more annd more efficient engines as a consequence.

I'm Confused About Contract Hire and PCP?
Contract hire is just that - a contract where you hire the car for a set period of time at a set rate and then simply hand the car back. It has the advantage that you know exactly where you stand with it and there's no worries about depreciation in value. You tend to get free road tax and roadside cover for the length of the deal - but please note that it is a contract and cancelling half way through gets very heavily penalised!
PCP is a little bit more flexible in that it's easier to get out of if the car is worth more than the amount left to pay. Again you pay a monthly payment for a fixed period of time and then have the option to hand it back, trade it in, or pay off the remaining balance to own it.
We will add to this section as more questions are asked and answered - let us know if you have any queries.
